More news about China Glaze's Magnetix collection!

Hello Ladies,

I have some more pictures from the Magnetix collection! These pictures where just uploaded on the China Glaze Facebook page. Let's start with the nail polish:

China Glaze - Instant Chemistry

China Glaze - You Move Me

China Glaze - Cling on ( Star Trek reference? )
China Glaze - Drawn to You

China Glaze - Pull me Close

China Glaze - Attraction

So what do you guys think? I really like "Pull me Close" and "Instant Chemistry". But I'm sure I'll probably get all of them. I also have some swatches of the magnets for you:

Arrow Magnet over Pull me Close

Lines Magnet over Attraction

Star Magnet over Instant Chemistry

I love how the lines of the Lines Magnet flow, it looks really interesting. The Arrow Magnet looks a bit odd to me, I don't really see an arrow.

Are you excited about this collection? Let me know what colours and/or magnets you are getting :)

How to make your own holographic nail polish!

I have something amazing to share with you guys! I was looking into holographic polished because I wanted more different colours than the two I own ( Gosh – Holographic and Nfu-oh 63 ) and I was getting to a point where I was thinking about buying the whole China Glaze OMG collection. Then I noticed that the website I order most of my China Glaze polishes and Konad supplies from was now selling a new brand, Glitter Gal ( 3D Holographics collection ). I immediately started “google-ing” these polishes and I fell in love with them. They are expensive, a tiny 9 ml bottle costs 12 Euros!  But then I found this blogpost that showed me how I can use one Glitter Gal bottle to create every coloured holographic polish I want! Here is how it works:

You only need Glitter Gal Silver 3D Holo! This one is really sheer, you would probably need 4 coats ( if not more ) to get full opacity. But because of this you can layer it over ANY polish you like to make it holographic! Here I have a nail wheel with a variety of colours:

From left to right: Kleancolor – Black, Essence – Fateful desire, Essence – Ultimate pink, P2 – Being in Heaven, Color Club – Rebel Debutante, Rimmel 60 seconds – Pompous , P2 – unforgettable

Now all you have to do is add a thin, even layer ( very important ) over the polish and...

Sorry for the geeky Super Mario Galaxy reference, I couldn’t resist!

TADA! Look at that amazing holographic effect! I am so happy I discovered this, it has saved me a lot of money J I hope this was useful for you guys! Do you own any holographic polishes?

New China Glaze magnetic nail polish!

It’s been way too long I know! I’m sorry :( But I do have a great announcement! China Glaze announced their new magnetic nail polish collection called “Magnetix” on their facebook page. There isn’t a lot of information available but there are some things we can conclude from the picture. They will come with 3 different magnets to create different designs: stripes, a star and a repeated “V” design. I do like these, I haven’t seen the “V” design in other magnetic polish collections yet. It looks like the magnets will be separate and not attached to the bottles. It also looks like they will come with a variety of colours, and not the typical silver, metallic pink and metallic black. So overall I’m really excited about this! I own two magnetic polishes by Essence and I was not happy about the result: It’s impossible to get the result they promise without touching the magnet/ruining your polish. China Glaze usually only delivers the best quality nail polish so I’m sure these will be better! What do you guys think?
